Certificate IV in Ageing Support course at Menzies Institute of Technology provide knowledge and skills needed to provide assistance, support and direct care to clients in a variety of health, welfare and community settings.

Aged Care and Personal Care is a wonderful career with many options for advancement and qualified Aged Care professional worker are highly sought after in health, welfare and community care centres.

All of the training and practical demonstrations are held at the aged care training facilities at the Menzies Institute of Technology.

Practical and Hands-On Learning
There are 2 Aged Care simulation and practical facilities at the School of Aged Care at Menzies Institute of Technology. The simulation facilities are to practice your skills and knowledge in a safe and simulated environment and house the latest technology and equipment such as advanced real-life manikins.
 
Students will also have opportunity to study the Enrolled Nursing (Diploma of Nursing – Enrolled Nursing) after completion of Certificate IV in Ageing Support to upskill and embark on an advanced career in Enrolled Nursing.

The duration and the costs of an RPL procedure will depend on your level of expertise and the amount of gap training required.
