Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology

DOMESTIC

This course aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the automotive electrical service and repair industry. The course prepares new employees or recognises and develops existing workers who service, diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic systems and components.

You will learn how to apply safe work practices, use and maintain automotive electrical test equipment and test and repair basic electrical circuits. This course will help you develop your skills in servicing and repairing vehicle lighting and wiring systems and removing/replacing electrical units and assemblies.

  • Age of 18 years or over and completed senior high school equivalent to Australian Year 10 level AND
  • IELTS score of 5.5 each band (general or academic) OR
  • TOEIC 605 (L&R), TOEFL 513 (PBT), TOEFL 183 (CBT), TOEFL 65 (IBT)
