Refunds due to non delivery of course by
the Institute
Where the Institute cancels a course, a full
refund including enrolment fee will be offered. The
Institute will make every effort to reschedule the
course and offer an alternative place to the student.
The student is not obliged to accept alternative offers
and may seek a full refund instead.

Refunds based on VET FEE HELP students
This applies to all students who are entitled to VET
FEE-HELP assistance, even if they choose not to access
it. To be entitled to VET FEE-HELP assistance a person
must be an Australian citizen or the holder of a
permanent humanitarian visa who will be resident in
Australia for the duration of their VET units of study.
The Institute will repay to a student who is, or would
be, entitled to VET FEE-HELP assistance any VET tuition
fees that he or she may have paid for a VET Unit of
study if the student withdraws from that unit on or
before the relevant census date. This does not apply
where VET tuition assurance arrangements have been
activated and the student has elected the VET course
assurance option for that unit. Where a student
withdraws from a VET unit of study after the relevant
census date, any refund of VET tuition fees is at the
discretion of the Institute.
Refunds based on VET FEE HELP students
Information about students will be treated as
confidential, but may be made available to Commonwealth
and State agencies, as required by regulations/law.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
It is the obligation of any student enrolled into a
course of study at Menzies Institute of Technology to
notify the Institute of his / her change of address
while enrolled in the course.
PROCEDURE FOR DEFERMENT, SUSPENSION OR CANCELLATION
FOR STUDENT ENROLMENT
Termination of student studies prior to completion
course;
Student completed course early
- Student left provider
– transferred to course at another provider
- Student notifies actively (or inactively) cessation of
studies
- Provider decision to cease student enrolment

- Compassionate or compelling circumstances
- Student misbehaviour
STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT
Students are entitled to a formal Statement of Attainment
under the following situations provided that student has
paid in full for the tuition related to the units of
competency on the Statement of Attainment:
-During course of study (additional charge
applicable)
-Withdrawal, cancellation or transfer prior to
completing the qualification (no charge)
